It’s reported that Korean steel giant Posco announced to remain its list prices for austenitic and ferritic stainless hot rolled and cold rolled coils for February as nickel prices have kept stable over the past month but the prices of finished stainless steel products in domestic and overseas markets have remained sluggish.
After the price announcement, the company’s list prices for 304 grade hot rolled coils (HRC) and cold rolled coils (CRC) are at KRW3.5 million/ton and KRW3.77 million/ton.
Meanwhile, its list prices for 430 grade HRC and CRC are at KRW2.04 million/ton and KRW2.42 million/ton respectively.
It’s learned that the nickel price at LME hovered at the level of US$17,000/ton over the past one month.
