US-based ADCO is introducing a new small-footprint Robotic carton/case packing system with integrating forming, product loading, and closing all in one unit at Pack Expo 2012 in Chicago, Illinois.

The Encompass features two FANUC robots, a clean-room LR Mate 200ic pick & place robot for fast case erecting, and a 6-axis, M3ia delta robot to provide reliable operation in all critical functional areas of the machine.

ADCO Manufacturing marketing and customer service, sales VP Scott Reed said ADCO is committed to the voice of its customers and the Encompass delivers the commitment.

"Product formats and packaging materials change more rapidly today than ever before and our customers need machinery with extraordinary adaptability, performance and reliability," Reed said.

It is available with a variety of infeed systems capable of forming, loading and sealing corrugated cases, including many 'Retail Ready' style packages at speeds up to 15 cases per minute when configured with a single packing robot.

ADCO, founded in 1958, is a leading US manufacturer of packaging machinery and systems with product line including horizontal and vertical end load cartoners, top load cartoning systems, paperboard wrap-around sleevers, corrugated tray formers etc.
