The elemental substances of the granular activated carbon from wood are all composed of carbon, so they all exhibit the same chemical properties of carbon. It is very stable at room temperature and will not change when exposed to sunlight or in contact with moisture, and does not react with general chemical reagents. But at high temperature, its chemical activity is greatly enhanced, which is reflected in its flammability and reducibility.
Characteristics
This series of granular activated carbon from wood are made from selected sawdust by crushing, mixing, pelletizing, drying, carbonization and activation. It has the characteristics of large specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity, less impurities, high purity, and fast filtration speed. It has the advantages of excellent decolorization and purification
Application
The granular activated carbon from wood can be used in gas phase adsorption, gasoline recovery, organic solvent recovery, impurity and harmful gas removal, liquid phase decolorization and deodorization (sucrose decolorization, xylose bleaching, monosodium glutamate decolorization, citric acid decolorization, decolorization and purification of drugs, chemical products and food additives).
